L’Amour Supreme x Kidrobot

L’Amour Supreme was discovered as a teen by the seminal skateboard/punk rock/ heavy metal graphic designer Pushead, Lamour Supreme has reinterpreted decades of comic books, action figures and monster movie references and twisted them into his own lexicon of 21st century hyper-pop imagery. He has continually created genre challenging work for brands such as Mishka, Nike and Super7.

The set of apparel includes a Tee and Tank in black and white for each of the artists custom Kidrobot designs. Releasing on the 4/20 in Kidrobot stores, Kidrobot.com and in specialty stores.

What a dope skull from Kidrobot’s Black line, this wicked black and gold skull by Russell Karablan, owner and creative director of SSUR. SOLD OUT unfortunately, these bad boys were going for 200bucks(USD) a pop!

The BLOB

Melbourne based Custom Toy & Sneaker Designer SEKURE D has just finished this little rad monster for the Munnyworld competition. I really like the bit where parts of the Kidrobot character sticking out, if you’re feeling this please do vote for him at the KIDROBOT fb page.

“He is based on an old comic character that has reappeared in some form across a number of popular culture mediums such as the children’s books Goosebumps and the Simpsons. He is essentially a GIANT blob that absorbs and devours all in his path which helps him gain in mass. As you can see he has devoured a Dunny, Mascot and has the hands of a Bearbrick in his back. He is 4″ Tall and I used a BUB as the base.”
