During my time working for VANS Australia i became good friends with John, which is now the team manager of the Vans Aus/NZ team. So working for those guys, you pretty much have to be Mr. Allrounder and i have to say John Parmeter really went all they way with this one, even to the extend of going to the chop shop to cop a back end of a ute! Mad efforts!

Nice one brotherrr!

TEAL BEETLE

We were on our way to check out NBHD’s new range and stumbled across this tuff teal beetle. Not only it has a dope paint job, its got one full BRIDE bucket seat and a roll cage as well. The wooden Nardi wheel just gives it a classic finish, but at the same time it also does have that ‘Rat’ sorta feel to it.
What a sick Beetle!

MILTON ZEIS

An old flash by Tim Hendricks featured in Milton Zeis’ new book “Tattooing As You Like It”, for those into traditional american style tattoos.

Radness

Indian Head Biker Rings.

During the 1940′s in Mexico, the peso dropped so far in value that artisans began melting them down to create jewelry that was worth more than the coins themselves. In the 1950′s and 60′s, motorcycle gangs from the U.S. would travel down to border cities like Tijuana to acquire these rings, which were so heavy that they could put one on every finger for a legal set of brass knuckles. These are some pretty serious rings for the tough guy finger, definitely worth seeing in person down at the shop.

DONDI

One of my favorite pics for sure. NY Photographer Martha Cooper, holding up GROTESK’s artwork, an illustration of the Legendary DONDI.

Confessions of an Old Dirty Skateboarder

This was from Mike Giants latest show ‘Confessions of a Old Dirty Skateboarder’. As i am huge fan of Mr.Giant, i’m pretty stoked about his new Sharpie tattoo rendered skateboarder chicks. Way better than the ones he did a couple of years ago but that was more to fixed gear. Anyway hit the jump to check out more pics and a little write up of the exhibition.

AIR JORDAN “RORSCHACH” IV

Just a couple of weeks ago, Australian Custom Artist SEKURE D did his first Watchmen inspired Air Jordan 4’s custom based on the character Dr.Manhattan. Today he revealed his second pair of ‘Watchmen’ Jordan 4’s, based on the character Rorschach and to me he is the coolest character in the movie. More detailed pictures and a write up by Sekure D himself at G-street blog.
